Donkey Dumpster was built in Columbus on grit, humility, and a simple belief: when someone needs junk gone, they shouldn't have to deal with sketchy quotes, missed appointments, or surprise fees.
At the center of it all is Ryan Gale, a lifelong entrepreneur who's never been afraid to work. What started as one "this needs to go" moment turned into an essential service that helps homeowners and businesses across Ohio clear space and move forward.
Ryan has always been wired to build. He was the first recipient to graduate with a degree in Entrepreneurship from The Ohio State University, and over the years he's been known for hard work and serial entrepreneurship, launching and operating businesses like Premier Parking, Club Wash, Premier Festival Solutions, and Donkey Dumpster.
Long before Donkey Dumpster, Ryan owned Premier Valet Parking and Premier Festival Solutions, serving restaurants, venues, and large public events across the region.
When COVID hit, mass gatherings were shut down, effectively closing Premier Festival Solutions overnight. Not long after, restaurants closed too, ending Premier Valet Parking as well.
For the first time in his life, Ryan found himself divorced, living in an RV, and without a source of income.
It wasn't just a business setback. It was a reset.
The turning point came when Ryan's friend Tommy called and asked for help cutting down a tree. After a long day of work, Tommy's wife Brooke looked at the pile of wood and asked:
"You guys aren't just going to leave the wood there?"
Ryan suggested they could burn it over time. Brooke's answer was simple: "I think it needs to go."
The next day, someone came to haul the wood away for $400, and Ryan's entrepreneurial mind immediately clicked. He already had a box truck. He knew he could handle jobs like that. And he knew there were thousands of people across Ohio who needed the same problem solved.
Ryan moved quickly. Within days, he took the idea seriously and did what entrepreneurs do: he made it real.
Just like that, Ryan was back in business, this time with an essential needs service that people rely on year-round.
Today, Donkey Dumpster operates with 4 trucks and 6 trailers, ready to travel anywhere in Ohio to "hee-haul" your junk away. We're still the same kind of company we were on day one: hard-working, honest, and easy to do business with, just bigger, faster, and serving more communities.
